Industry Experience and Qualifications

Richard has extensive experience within the transport and distribution industry. He started his career as a traffic clerk, moving up to assistant depot manager in a worldwide parcel express company, before being appointed Director of another delivery company.

He also has experience in the motor trade, having spent 6 years dealing in high end vehicles. Throughout his career Richard has gained various qualifications, including: Heavy Goods Vehicle Licence Class 1 and Certificate of Professional Competence which have provided him with the skills to progress.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Richard enjoys managing a team of motivated and committed individuals who strive to provide Pink Link customers with a ‘Rolls Royce’ service.

Industry Experience and Qualifications

Vicki has 28 years experience in the transport, distribution and logistics sector. She started work as an administration clerk, working her way up to Depot Manager in a national distribution company before leaving to become Sales/ Commercial Director of The Pink Link Ltd. Vicki has a varied skilled set spanning; administration, sales and marketing, finance, customer service and operations, all of which are required to run a successful business.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Vicki thinks that the best part of her job is working with a team of individuals who are as passionate as she is about providing the best possible customer service in the industry to their customers, and who are prepared to go the extra mile. She also thoroughly enjoys building up relationships with customers.

Roland has 32 years experience in the transport industry, having worked for a variety of companies within the industry, with over 20 years working at The Pink Link Ltd. He is trained in FLT Man Management Skills and team building.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Roland likes the daily challenges of his role, as every day is different. He also enjoys working alongside his colleagues and with The Pink Link Ltd customers.

Industry Experience and Qualifications 

Marc has extensive industry experience in field and manufacturing office sales, having worked within this area for 27 years. He began his distribution career in import / export, despatching electronic analytical equipment globally. Marc then moved into an office based sales role before moving again into field sales which gave him experience in a range of different areas, including: UK parcels, pallets, European freight, part and full trailer loads, air freight, deep sea and multi-modal solutions

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Marc enjoys working with The Pink Link Ltd team, meeting clients and working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries. He sees his work as an education, and is very enthusiastic and passionate about his career.

Marilyn is practice trained and has worked in accountancy roles for 35 years, starting in Chartered Accountants and then moving into the manufacturing industry.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Marilyn loves the flexibility of her job and being part of a team who are committed to providing the best possible distribution service.

Before joining The Pink Link Ltd Bev owned a successful chain of hairdressing salons before making the decision to move into sales. Over her 10 years at The Pink Link Ltd Bev has built up the company’s customer database and has been a key part of implementing The Pink Link Ltd's marketing strategy, which has been instrumental in the success of the business.
 
What do you enjoy most about your job?

Bev enjoys all aspects of her job, including being part of a successful business and working as part of a team.

Steven previously worked for The Pink Link Ltd as a driver and has experience as a delivery driver, route and load planner in transport management. He has a range of qualifications, including: CPC National, Cat C Licence and FLT Certificate.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Steven’s favourite part of his job is the different challenges that he is constantly faced with and working with his colleagues.

Since joining The Pink Link Ltd in 2005, Sarah has completed an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service which has enabled her to develop her skills and progress as Customer Service Manager.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Sarah enjoys dealing with customers on a daily basis, problem solving and working with everyone in The Pink Link Ltd team.

Ian has worked within the transport industry for 16 years and has a wealth of experience. He has completed a number of national qualifications which have enabled him to progress within his career. His qualifications include: the National Certificate of Professional competence, OCR – Clait IT User Level 1 and RoSpa – Banks man Assessor Certificate.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Ian enjoys dealing with and speaking to a variety of different people, from customers through to end user.

Anne is a qualified C&D driver and has had 14 years experience working in customer services which has given her the experience to take on the role as Night Shift Supervisor.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Anne enjoys the variety of her work, working with her colleagues and the positive team spirit of the company.

Richard was appointed as Operations Supervisor having previously been a driver and then warehouse operator with The Pink Link Ltd. He has extensive experience within the industry and over the years has completed his Class 2 and Fork Lift Licenses.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Richard’s favourite part of his job is that every day is different and brings with it a new challenge.

Phil has worked at The Pink Link Ltd for 8 years and provides technical support to the team, ensuring the IT issues are dealt with swiftly.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Phil enjoys solving all I.T. issues and visiting customers.

Before joining The Pink Link Ltd, Josie had completed a variety of admin jobs which gave her the experience to fulfil the role of Transport Co Ordinator. Since joining the company Josie has completed an ‘Administration Level 2’ qualification which has helped her to develop her administration skills.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Josie enjoys helping the customers, depots and drivers. She likes that every day in the transport office is different as different situations arise each day.

Tracy has extensive experience as a customer advisor and has completed her ECDL computer driving licence and Clait 1 and 2 which has helped her in the roles as Customer Services Advisor.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Tracy enjoys speaking to customers on a daily basis and solving their problems, she loves the satisfaction she gets when a problem is solved, and likes that no two days are the same.

Rebecca has a variety of GCSE qualifications and an English Level 2, (equivalent to an NVQ) which have set Rebecca in good stead for a career in customer service.

Before joining The Pink Link Ltd, Rebecca had previous experience of working within an office environment; her role consisted of answering calls and carrying out general office duties. Since joining The Pink Link Ltd Rebecca is continuing to study and is currently undertaking an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service which will help her to gain more experience within the customer service department.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Rebecca enjoys speaking to customers, as every day is different and brings with it new customers to speak to. She also enjoys the team spirit that is present throughout The Pink Link Ltd and the strong support that the close-knit team provides.

Josée has extensive experience of working within Customer Service having worked for seven years as a Customer Service Representative and Dispatcher for a small family business in Montreal, Canada. After moving to the UK three years ago, Josée worked as a temporary administration assistant and customer service advisor for Kirklees Council before joining The Pink Link Ltd.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Josée enjoys talking to customers and making sure that they are happy with the service that The Pink Link Ltd provides, she also enjoys solving problems and working as part of a great team.

Pinky Lynx specifically looks after the Corporate Social Responsibility side of the company, attending charity events and local community events. He also upholds the brand values - quality, service, efficiency.

He is a friendly character and will over time become recognisable as the brand symbol for the Pink Link Ltd.
