“Boothy” And “Cherry” Take To The Road!

Lifelong Huddersfield Town fan, Sally Peckett, was the winner of a competition to have five trucks named after her own personal heroes back in September last year.

The Pink Link Ltd ran its competition to allow Huddersfield Town fans to name five of the company’s ten new trucks. An email invited supporters to submit the names of their top five players of all time to be in with a chance to win a signed Huddersfield Town shirt. Over 10,000 emails were sent out and thousands of Huddersfield Town supporters entered the competition.

Last week, lucky winner Sally was presented with a signed HTFC shirt at The Pink Link’s offices in Netherton by her very own Huddersfield Town legends, Trevor Cherry and Andy Booth, as pictured.

Sally also crowned The Pink Link trucks with their new names; “Trevor Cherry” and “Boothy”.

Richard Allen, Managing Director of The Pink Link Ltd said: “We’re delighted that a fan like Sally won our competition. She’s Huddersfield born and bred, a lifelong Town supporter and season ticket holder. The competition worked in conjunction with The Pink Link Ltd’s sponsorship at The Galpharm Stadium to help encourage local pride in Huddersfield’s sporting legends.”

The new trucks will be officially named:

Trevor Cherry
Andy Booth
Steve Kindon
Frank Worthington
Denis Law
