Card Factory Thinks Pink! Yorkshire based, palletised distribution specialist, The Pink Link Ltd has renewed a multi-million pound contract with Wakefield based retailer Card Factory for a further three years. The new deal will see four new trailers on the road in Card Factory’s navy blue and yellow livery together with The Pink Link Ltd’s trademark branding on the pink tractor units. Card Factory currently has 480 stores nationwide, having recently purchased 76 Card Warehouse outlets. The move saved 500 industry jobs and has the potential to create 400 more, making Card Factory the UK’s fastest growing card retailer. Dean Hoyle, Chairman of Card Factory said: “When we first joined forces with The Pink Link Ltd back in 2004, we had 80 stores. This figure has now risen to currently 480 nationwide. The Pink Link Ltd continues to manage the increase in demand from us in a very professional manner and provides exemplary customer service which far exceeds the norm. 2009 is going to be a very exciting year for us and we are delighted to be working with a local, like minded business.” Richard Allen, Managing Director of The Pink Link Ltd said: “This move publicises our partnership with Card Factory on a national scale and as a long serving member of Palletways (UK) Ltd, demonstrates the benefits of being part of such a successful network.” |
