The Night Huddersfield Turns Pink! Netherton based palletised distribution specialists, The Pink Link Ltd will be once again dusting off their trainers to take part in a 10k midnight walk for local charity, Kirkwood Hospice. The date for the challenge is 00.00 hours this Saturday 20th June! 12 girls at The Pink Link Ltd will be up setting off as a new day begins for the Midnight Memory Walk around Huddersfield, kicking off at The Galpharm Stadium. The event raises money for Kirkwood Hospice which provides specialist care for those people in Kirklees facing life-threatening illness. The Pink Link Ltd plays a very active role in Huddersfield and neighbouring communities. Last year, the company won the Huddersfield Examiner Community Award which honours the continued efforts made by regional businesses to raise money for schemes which have a positive impact on the community. The Pink Link Ltd has raised over £55,000 for charities since 2001 both regionally and nationally, with HRI Breast Cancer Care Fund, Kirklees Hospice, Laura Crane, Forget Me-Not and the Dominic Rodgers Trust among those who benefit.
