Another Award For The Pink Link The Pink Link Ltd’s Marc Buchanan is officially Palletways’ Commercial Development Champion for the second year running. Marc Buchanan, Account Executive of the nationwide palletised distribution specialists, has scooped a top award for the second year running at the annual National Sales Convention organised by Palletways, the UK’s number one pallet network. The awards recognise the best business development performers amongst its network of 100 plus members, and Marc was selected from a list of eight finalists from across the country. As Account Executive at The Pink Link Ltd, recognised locally for its eye-catching bright pink vehicles, Marc was once again named the overall winner at this year’s awards, being crowned ‘The Development Champion 2008/9’. The award reflected his individual success and best practice methods which have since been duplicated in other depots across the UK, as well as emphasising The Pink Link Ltd’s commitment to it staff, customers and the Palletways network. Commenting on the award, Marc said: “I’m thrilled to have won this prestigious award for the second year running. Our success at The Pink Link is thanks to a real team effort with everyone from drivers and customers services representatives right through to senior managers pulling in the same direction. “It’s been a tough year for the industry, but we have maintained a positive attitude and our goal is to identify every single opportunity for the business and not let anything slip through our fingers.
