In the Pink for Charity Run

Huddersfield based palletised distribution specialist, The Pink Link Ltd, has raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK after completing the 5k Race for Life in Huddersfield on Sunday 10th July.

Employees, along with family and friends, dusted off their trainers and donned pink outfits for the run, hoping to raise around £1,000 for charity.

The Pink Link Ltd is no stranger to charitable causes, having completed numerous runs and hosting various fundraising events for both regional and national charities, raising nearly £93,000 in 10 years.

Vicki Davenport, The Pink Link Ltd’s Sales and Commercial Director, commented: “We started supporting Cancer Research UK in 2001 as we wanted to do something to help all the women out there affected by cancer. We are delighted to have reached our target amount and want to thank everyone who supported us. We have now completed 5 Race for Life events, raising over £4,700 and I’m sure we’ll be involved in many more.”
