A Splash of Pink!

>

The Pink Link Ltd is bringing a splash of pink to the first official Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Colour Run at Farnley Estates on Saturday 21st May.

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice colour run will help raise vital funds for the West Yorkshire charity which supports children with life shortening conditions and their families.

The Pink Link Ltd is supporting the event by taking on its very own colour station, which of course will involve lots of pink. Colleagues, family and friends of The Pink Link will be in charge of showering the participants in pink, the firm is also putting a team forward to take on the most colourful event of the year!

The 5km course, which travels through beautiful Kirklees countryside, can be run, jogged, walked or wheeled round. As people move around the course they will meet a number of colour stations and be doused in a fountain of coloured powder. The aim of the game is to get messy and as people pass the finish line, they will look like they have come through a rainbow!

Vicki Davenport, Sales and Commercial Director at The Pink Link Ltd, commented: “We are thrilled to be involved with the first official Forget Me Not Colour Run and are looking forward to bringing a splash of pink to the event. The Pink Link Ltd is very passionate about supporting charitable causes, the team, our family and friends are looking forward to taking part!”

If you ‘d like to take part in the Colour Run, entry costs £15 per adult and £7.50 per child, with family tickets also available for two adults and two children for £40.

Volunteers are also wanted to help out during the event, while spectators will be welcome. Find out more or sign up today at forgetmenotchild.co.uk or call 01484 411040.
