The Pink Link Ltd has reported encouraging economic growth in line with government predictions after successfully doubling its delivery of pallets to its European destinations in the first quarter of 2014.
The Huddersfield based palletised distribution specialist saw a sharp increase in its European activity, which is expected to grow with the launch of its Czech Republic and Slovakia services on the 1st April 2014.
As part of the Palletways Network The Pink Link Ltd has access to 11 European hubs with 320 member sites, allowing customers to benefit from local expertise and having one distribution partner for both the UK and European services. The Pink Link Ltd can also offer a unique point of difference with daily, rather than weekly, departures to all destinations, therefore offering drastically reduced lead times.
The companies European growth report comes in a month when positive signals have been highlighted regarding the UK’s economic growth, NIESR’s (The National Institute of Economic and Social Research) latest forecast suggest the UK economy will grow 2.5 percent in 2014.
Since its re-launch of European Services last year, The Pink Link Ltd has received a positive response from Germany, Italy and France. The firm hopes to encourage more activity in other areas including Prague, Bratislava and the Benelux Countries in 2014.
Vicki Davenport, Sales and Commercial Director at The Pink Link Ltd commented: “Our European Service offering allows us to connect UK businesses to the rest of Europe at a realistic rate, and most importantly with an excellent service. We are heavily marketing our unrivalled European service and are encouraged by the growth we have experienced in the first quarter of 2014. As part of Europe’s largest provider of express palletised distribution services, Palletways, we believe we will be the company businesses choose to access Europe.”
