The Pink Link Ltd won the SME of the Year Award at the recent Examiner Business Awards.
Now in its 11th year, the Examiner Business Awards is the biggest, the best and longest-standing business awards in the region with a history of recognising and rewarding successful businesses across all sectors.
The event, held annually at the John Smith’s Stadium, recognises outstanding achievement in all areas of local business. Categories include Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year and Employee of the Year.
The SME category was one of the most hotly-contested categories at this year’s awards with more than 30 businesses submitting entries. Two brilliant local businesses also made the SME of the Year shortlist; Kamelle Ltd and Towndoor Ltd, but it was The Pink Link that were triumphant on the night.
2016 has been a huge year for The Pink Link Ltd as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. The success and growth of The Pink Link Ltd over the last 25 years can be attributed to the fact it is a family owned business which prides itself on providing their customers with an unrivalled degree of personalised service.
Having traded successfully for 25 years the business is still ambitious and determined to continue investing in fleet, IT, staff facilities and people in order to achieve planned and controlled growth with a keen eye on healthy trading in a competitive market environment with an open mind when it comes to exploring added value services for its loyal client base.
The company has recently appointed a new Sales and Commercial Director – Paul Ince who has joined the board to strengthen the management team. With his added experience and expertise he will work with the board to develop a strategy which will allow The Pink Link to gain greater market share, explore different ways of attracting new customers and taking the business to the next level.
