Huddersfield based logistics specialist, The Pink Link, has announced the appointment of a new member of the team, Pinky Lynx, who will act as the company’s corporate social responsibility and charity spokesperson.

Pinky will attend charity and local community events. He will also uphold the brand values of The Pink Link – quality, service and efficiency by being a positive brand ambassador for the company.

Over the past few weeks Pinky has been busy helping The Pink Link to raise over £2,000 by attending various events.

On 10th July Pinky joined The Pink Link team to run The Race for Life which raised money for Cancer Research UK. A week later on 16th July Pinky attended an afternoon tea party which raised money for The Laura Crane and Forget Me Not Trusts.

After a successful month of fundraising Pinky will continue to attend charity events around Yorkshire supported by The Pink Link, including the Macmillan coffee morning, as well as The Pink Link’s own bi-annual ‘Pink October’ event which raises money for several regional and national charities.

Pinky will travel around the county helping to forge new relationships within the community and there are plans in the future to get him involved in initiatives with local schools.

Vicki Davenport, Sales and Commercial Director at The Pink Link, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Pinky and unveil him as our new company spokesperson. Pinky will help us by attending charity events that we feel passionate about and will become a recognisable brand symbol for The Pink Link.”
