The Pink Link bring Splash of Pink for Second Year in a Row

The Pink Link brought a splash of pink to the official Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice Colour Run at Farnley Estates on Saturday 20th May.

Following a sell-out initial event in 2016, the event was organised to help raise vital funds for the West Yorkshire charity which supports children with life shortening conditions and their families. The day saw over 1,300 people of all ages taking part.

The Pink Link Ltd supported the event by manning the pink colour station, which involved lots of pink powder paint. Colleagues, family and friends were in charge of showering those taking part in the run with lots of pink powder paint as they ran past.

Those who took part ran, jogged, walked and wheeled round the beautiful Kirklees countryside met many different colour stations along the way, with the aim to get as messy and as colourful as possible.

Vicki Davenport, Managing Director at the Pink Link commented: “We are thrilled to have been able to support the official Forget Me Not Colour Run for the second year in a row. Here at The Pink Link we are very passionate about supporting charitable causes and it was great to see so many people from the local area, from all walks of life, taking part in such a fun event.”
