The Pink Link Ltd Goes Platinum
>
Huddersfield based logistics specialist, The Pink Link Ltd, has achieved Platinum status, the highest grade in the Palletways Partnership league.
Palletways is Europe’s specialist provider of express distribution services for small consignments of palletised goods. Founded in 1994, the Palletways UK distribution network, comprises 100 plus depots, operated by independent and established logistics companies who combine each others’ resources to deliver goods faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
As a member of the Palletways network, The Pink Link Ltd competes in the Palletways Partnership League, the platform for all members to use as an easy to follow set of business principles that will ensure a common approach to delivering. Members can achieve one of four possible partnership positions: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
For the fourth time, The Pink Link Ltd has achieved Platinum status, the highest accolade. Platinum status is particularly difficult to achieve as it requires 100% in each of the twelve principles of the partnership.
The principles focus attention on all key aspects of running a business and encourages levels of performance to be raised in order to achieve greater success, prompting depots to develop areas that are identified as weaknesses.
The Pink Link Ltd were presented with the award at the annual Palletways conference in July by former sprint and hurdling champion, Kriss Akabusi . The ceremony, attended by members of the Palletways network was held at Eastwood Hall in Nottingham.
Vicki Davenport, Sales and Commercial Director at The Pink Link Ltd, said: “We are delighted to have achieved Platinum status for the fourth time, The Pink Link Ltd is committed to the partnership and works hard to achieve and maintain platinum status, as it is vitally important to us. We continually review and develop our customer service practices to ensure that we continue to work to the highest possible standards.”
