The Pink Link Ltd ‘Pedal for Pounds’

The Pink Link Ltd has become title sponsor of Huddersfield Town’s second epic charity bike ride. Newly titled as ‘The Pink Link Pedal4Pounds 2’ cycle ride, this year’s trip will see participants cycle over 260 miles to the Withdean Stadium in Brighton.

The bike ride will begin on the 27th April and finish on the 30th April ahead of Town’s clash against Brighton. Raising money for the ‘Keep it Up’ campaign, this will be the second time that team members, including Chairman Dean Hoyle, Andy Booth and Sean Jarvis have cycled to an away game.

The ‘Keep it Up’ campaign is an innovative partnership between Huddersfield Town and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance to raise money for the charity and the Club’s Youth Academy.

In celebration of The Pink Link Ltd sponsoring the bike ride, the Club has designed two t-shirts featuring the company’s distinctive pink logo, which will be worn by the riders.

Town’s Chairman Dean Hoyle commented: “It’s fantastic to have a successful, Huddersfield based company providing the bike ride with a very big backing.”

Richard Allen, Managing Director at The Pink Link Ltd, added: “We’re delighted to sponsor this year’s bike ride in aid of the Keep it Up campaign. It’s fantastic to help local charities and initiatives and we’re hoping that we’ll beat 2009’s total.”
