The Pink Link Ltd Wins Top Business Award
>
The Pink Link Ltd has been presented with the award for ‘Outstanding Commercial Contribution’ by Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network.
The Pink Link Ltd collects and delivers small consignments of palletised freight to customers in the BD/HD/HX postcode areas for the Palletways network. It has received the top award for excellence in Commercial Management which encompassed all aspects of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care.
Vicki Davenport and Mark Buchanan from The Pink Link collected the award at a recent Palletways sales conference, which took place at the Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire. The company fought off stiff competition to be just one of a handful of companies to be given an award at the conference – the only one from the North of England.
Vicki Davenport, Sales and Commercial Director at The Pink Link, said: “It was great to be recognised for all our efforts and we were delighted to win the award. There are over 100 companies in the network and to be recognised as one of the top achieving companies for new business is fantastic.”
Martyn Young, Palletways UK Managing Director, who presented the award, said: “We’d like to congratulate The Pink Link on the contribution they have made to new business and to help us to grow the network this year. They have succeeded in engaging every single person in their company to produce incredible levels of customer care, service and quality.
The Pink Link are great Palletways members who offer valuable advice and feedback as well as making great use of member support facilities, in all aspects of their business. They thoroughly deserved to be recognised for their achievements. “
The Palletways Group is made up of 300 depots and ten hub operations, through which it provides collection and distribution services across 11 European countries, including the UK.
